- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The directors have prepared a cash flow forecast for the company for a period of at least 12 months from the date of signing these financial statements. The directors believe that preparing the financial statements on the going concern basis is appropriate due to the continued financial support of J.C.B. Service. The directors have received confirmation that J.C.B. Service intends to support the company for at least one year from the date of approval of these financial statements.”
Significant events
- “2024 was a challenging year in the Agricultural sector. Softer commodity prices reduced customer confidence to invest in machinery and high inventory levels in the distribution channels had a significant negative effect on factory demand for new equipment. The global tractor market reduced by 15% compared to the prior year and in the key JCB markets of Europe and the UK this reduction was 26% and 35% respectively (Source ISTAT). These market conditions significantly impacted JCB Fastrac retail & wholesale volume, but significant stock reductions during the year & continued investment by the company in R&D will support sales & revenue growth in future years.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
