Audit & accounting basis

- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The Company has net current liabilities of £1,667,426 at 29 May 2025 (2024: £1,741,278). The directors have prepared the financial statements on a going concern basis. The directors have prepared forecasts for the next four years which show that the Company will have sufficient cash to operate and to allow it to meet its operating liabilities as and when they fall due. These forecasts include a new loan and overdraft facility that have been agreed post year end, to support the Company in its current expansion programme and manage the working capital requirements of the business. These forecasts consider the financial covenants agreed with the Company's banking partner, Virgin Money, and do not forecast any breaches. Whilst there are inherent uncertainties with any forecasts, the directors do not believe that these are such that they would impact upon the ability of the Company to continue to operate for a period of at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements and hence the use of the going concern concept as a basis of preparation for these financial statements is considered appropriate.”
Significant events
- “Since the year end, five bakeries have been opened and a further seven are scheduled to open before the end of May 2026, with EBITDA on course to exceed £7m.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
