• “During the year 2023-2024, the Company saw turnover drop by 22% from £13.4m (2023) to £10.4m (2024). This decrease was due to the result of several factors, notably the unusually high levels of inventory held in the industry distribution network and the unseasonally wet Autumn and Winter season in 2023 / 2024, which had a serious impact on customer demand in the first half of the financial year. The second half of the financial year saw some increase in customer demand back towards forecasted levels as both climatic and economic conditions improved.”
