“The directors have reviewed budgets and projected cash flows for a period of not less than 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements and the directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. On that basis, the directors have concluded that there are no material uncertainties that would cast significant doubt over the Company's ability to continue as a going concern. For this reason, the directors consider it appropriate to continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”

Significant events

• “In 2017, the Company became a core participant of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry (the "Inquiry")... While the Company had no role in the design of the cladding system on Grenfell Tower, the Company's K15 product (constituting approximately 5% of the insulation on the tower) was misused without the Company's knowledge in an unsafe and non-compliant cladding system on the exterior of the building. The Inquiry published its Phase 2 report on 4 September 2024 (the "Phase 2 Report"), which found that the primary cause of the spread of the fire was the PE ACM cladding panels, which were not manufactured by the Company. Although not found by the Inquiry to be causative of the tragedy, the Company has acknowledged certain historical failings that occurred in part of the business which the Company has since comprehensively addressed.”
