- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The directors have assessed the future prospects of the Group and note that it has a strong balance sheet position with no external debt, a suitable order book and satisfactory future sales prospects, a diverse portfolio of customers and products and an established supply chain. Cash flow forecasts for the period twelve months from the date of approval of the financial statements have been prepared using assumptions based on the best available information at the time of preparation. The forecast has been extended to include sensitivity analysis to a downturn in trading conditions including extreme scenarios and the disruption of manufacturing capabilities. The Group continues to be a going concern under these scenarios. The directors therefore have a reasonable expectation that the Company and the Group have adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual financial statements.”

Significant events
- “The Group has continued to invest in new buildings and high-efficiency capital equipment during the year to support the future growth: A new UK manufacturing site became fully operational during the financial year. A project to expand our existing German manufacturing site is also underway and expected to open later in the 2025 calendar year.”
- “The market price of certain raw materials and energy reduced during the year. However, price pressures remain for other components and staff costs. Focus has been placed on cost control and efficiency improvements. Subcontracted work was redirected to in-house manufacturing to match manufacturing demand with capacity. Profit margin on sales have increased during the year as actions taken in the prior year have taken effect. The conflict in Ukraine has not had a direct material impact on the business this year as trading with Ukraine is modest and there has been no direct trade with Russia.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
