“The directors believe it is appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis as the majority of its income originates from the Higher Education Innovation Funding awarded to Queen Mary University of London and the UK government has indicated that this fund will be continued. In addition, there is a formal letter of support in place between the company and the parent, Queen Mary University of London (which has concluded that it is appropriate to prepare their financial statements on a going concern basis). Accordingly, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company will have adequate resources to meet its liabilities as they fall due for the next 12 months, and have prepared the financial statements on a going concern basis.”
