“The directors have considered the company's ability to continue as a going concern for 12 months from the date of signing these accounts. In making this assessment the directors of the company are cognisant of the key risks, most significantly, cost and inflationary increases. However, forecasts demonstrate that there is expected to be sufficient margin in the sale of bought-in-goods. Further to this, with the strategic direction to increase this line of business, there is sufficient assurance that Trading CIC will remain profitable through the forecast period to 31 March 2027. Having regard to the above, the directors believe it appropriate to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”
