- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the trustees' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the charitable company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”

Significant events
- “The business loans on Scunthorpe and Hull were paid off in December 2024 and July 2025 respectively.”
- “The current reserves reflect a more prudent approach to managing debt in that the Board have chosen to 'overpay' on monthly capital payments that has subsequently allowed HETA to reduce the overall debt level resulting in two bank loans to be paid off completely. This now means that HETA wholly owns two out of three training centres.”
- “HETA has been able to instigate a high-tech partnership that will develop 'digital twins' to help engineers replicate real-life training scenarios. This is a new two-year collaboration between industry and academia that will give businesses high-tech access to full-scale production rigs without disrupting their own premises, plant and manufacturing processes.”
- “Following on from this, we have been successful in developing another partnership with Hull University. It has been a long-held ambition to be able to provide educational progression to young people from Level 3 through to Degree Level 6. Working with the School of Engineering, HETA will now be able to offer our learners the opportunity to progress onto a part time degree from September 2026.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
