“All members of the AAF McQuay UK Limited group, of which the company is one, continue to enjoy the support of the ultimate parent company, Daikin Industries Limited. Further details regarding the adoption of the going concern basis can be found in note 1 of the notes to the financial statements. The ultimate holding company, Daikin Industries Limited, has provided letters of undertaking to the company's main lender Barclays Bank plc and has confirmed to the directors that it will provide sufficient financial support, should it be required, to enable the company to meet its liabilities as they fall due for a period of not less than 12 months from the date of the approval of the financial statements. Daikin Industries Limited continues to be profitable and has the resources to provide the support promised. The company is aware of the Government response published on 5 June 2025 which announces the Government's intention to introduce legislation to give affected pension schemes the ability to retrospectively obtain written actuarial confirmation. There remains uncertainty as to whether the judgment and the proposed legislation will result in additional liabilities for UK pension schemes. A detailed review of historic documentation will be needed to determine whether the changes affecting Scheme benefits were impacted and such a review will take some time to complete. The Company is not yet in a position to be able to determine whether any of the changes might remain invalid or whether, therefore, there is any potential financial impact arising from any of them.”

Year-on-year

FY2024 → FY2025 · period ending 2025-03-31 vs 2024-03-31

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
