Significant events
- “The directors are satisfied with the result for the year achieved under difficult trading conditions caused by the impact of Brexit the current conflicts in the Middles East, Ukraine/Russia and the tariffs/sanctions imposed by USA on various countries including China. The group also benefitted as a result of the contribution made to turnover and profitability by the operations in the South of England where increased investment by the company in Reading during the year was made. During the year the group was able to achieve better margins on sale of some metal stock with GP of 18.05%. The updated stock control system helped the group to control stock levels within the group of companies more efficiently. This has further avoided excess stock being held at the locations. Stock could be transferred within the group for delivery next day to other locations in the UK. The Inside Track, IFP and Ingenious Games partnerships litigation has therefore now concluded. The final treatment remains to be confirmed as part of the BSP LLP Partnerships ongoing HMRC enquiries. The company's claim for loss relief for its share of the Big Screen Productions 7, 13, 17, 21 and Pangorda LLP trading losses have been submitted to HMRC under Disclosure of Avoidance Scheme number (SRN) 77545700. These claims have not yet been agreed by HMRC. The validity of the claims is presently being determined legally the outcome of which is pending.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
