The directors therefore have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence and meet its liabilities as they fall due over the period of at least 12 months from the date of approving these financial statements. Accordingly, the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis.”

• “Post the year end, the business determined that the scale of the challenges faced in 2024 and level of operating liquidity consequently brought forward into 2025 meant that a refinance of the business was the optimal means of underpinning the operating plan created for 2025 and plans to further optimize and grow the business in 2026 and 2027. The business launched a sale and refinancing process in January 2025, resulting in completion and implementation of a new ownership, capital and funding structure in April 2025.”
• “In February 2025, the business received notification that HMRC were to commence a compliance review of the payments made to Lakeland under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS).
