“The directors have considered the financial position of the company for the period through to 31 December 2026, based upon their best estimate of trading and associated cash flows. They have then applied a plausible but severe downside scenario which assumes that cinemas remain either closed or operating with significant restrictions. In addition, the directors have considered a scenario involving reduced availability of film product from the US. Even in these circumstances, the directors believe that, due to the continued strong performance of the television and home entertainment licensing divisions and the company's strong financial position, the company will be able to meet its liabilities as they fall due. Accordingly they continue to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.”
