• “During the year ended 31 July 2025, the roof and upper level of the Millennium Building were demolished to allow for the construction of an additional storey. The existing player floor space was extended and a new bridge formed to connect the Millennium Building to the Media Theatre. Works will continue over the next two years with the project due to be completed for The Championships 2027.”
• “The planning application on the development for the Wimbledon Park Project was submitted in July 2021. In January 2024, the planning application was called in by the Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and the Fire Service. A public Representation Hearing was held on 27 September 2024, following which the Deputy Mayor, on behalf of the Greater London Authority ("GLA"), resolved to grant planning permission subject to the conclusion of a s106 legal agreement. This was subsequently subject to a Judicial Review which was heard at the Royal Courts of Justice in July 2025. The Judicial Review concluded that the GLA's decision making process was correct. The GLA's officers' report prepared for the Representation Hearing raised the possibility of a statutory trust over the land. The company believes there is not, and has never been, a statutory trust over the land and has initiated court proceedings to determine the position. The statutory trust hearing is scheduled for January 2026.”
