“The company is a member of the Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., group (the Group) providing finance to other undertakings within the Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., group. Given the integrated nature of its activities within the Group the directors have sought and obtained written confirmation from the ultimate parent undertaking, Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., that they will provide the necessary financial resources to enable the company to meet its financial liabilities until 31 December 2027, to the extent that the company is unable to meet its liabilities. The directors are satisfied that based on the latest Group financial statements of Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission it has sufficient resources and the ability to provide this support, should it be required. Taking into account the position of the ultimate parent company the directors are of the view, to the best of their current knowledge, that there are no events expected to have a material adverse impact on the company's ability to continue as a going concern. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing these financial statements.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
