- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The directors have prepared the financial statements on a going concern basis, having considered the Company's financial position, cash flow forecasts and principal risks for a period of at least twelve months from the date of approval of the financial statements. ... Based on the level of reserves held, the absence of external debt, and the results of the forecasts and sensitivities prepared, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company will have adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
Significant events
- “During the current year, certain costs including motor and fuel costs, tour and hire expenses and depreciation and gains on sale of buses, were reclassified to appear in Cost of Sales as opposed to Administration Expenses in order to more accurately reflect gross margin. As a result gross margin for 2024 is now 35.34% compared with 65.71% under the previous cost classification.”
- “The principal risks facing the Company include competitive market conditions, cost inflation, staff recruitment and retention, reliance on third-party sales channels, and operational risks associated with fleet availability. Given the market in which the Company operates, its sensitivity to fluctuations in fuel prices driven by the current conflict in the Middle East provides a specific risk as does the potential impact on travel from and through that region and the knock on effect on visitor numbers to the UK.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
