The investment property had a carrying value of £174,374 and was transferred at fair value of £255,000. The freehold property had a carrying value and fair value of £305,000 and was transferred at this amount resulting in a gain for the company of £50,000, which is recognised in the profit and loss account for the current period. No cash was exchanged, and no balances were outstanding at the period-end in relation to this transaction.”
