- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the Company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “This year was a foundational year for Lightyear U.K. Ltd: the firm got authorised, launched ISAs, and dramatically bent the curve on user and AUM growth.”
- “The Company received authorisation from the FCA on 30th September 2024 and the year in review has been about attaining this authorisation and then making use of the permissions by starting to offer services. In line with the board's expectations the firm was able to commence operations in Q4 2024, accepting customers previously served by its U.K. parent, Lightyear Financial Ltd the 30th of December 2024.”
- “On January 23rd 2025 the firm launched ISA products. These products had been the most requested feature for years.”
- “The firm will build on the momentum with continued investments into a broader instrument universe, including more direct integrations with market participants; continued improvement of the services, including acceleration of payment speed, expansion of information available in the app, and tax wrappers available to customers; and operational resilience and strength to keep up with the growing business.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
