“In the year ending 31 December 2024 Bitstamp UK Ltd. has generated losses amounting to GBP 2,207,589 (2023: GBP 1,549,149). Whilst the market environment in 2024 was significantly stronger than 2023, when a low volatility and valuation environment ("crypto winter") prevailed, the company continued to generate losses due to the additional costs incurred related to the operation of the exchange platform. If a crypto winter were to arise in 2025, Bitstamp UK Ltd could experience an associated reduction in revenues and generate greater trading losses. The management of Bitstamp UK Ltd, and Bitstamp Group have planned for this eventuality, and have taken actions to ensure that Bitstamp UK Ltd and Bitstamp Group have sufficient liquidity to meet the Group's working capital, and each entities regulatory capital requirements. These actions include securing additional working capital, cost reduction measures and the launching of new initiatives to build additional revenue.”
