“The Company has made a loss in the year due to one-off exceptional expenses incurred to complete the transition of IT services onto Group platforms. This was however lower than in the previous year due to certain cost efficiency initiatives, and the Company is expected to be profitable in the subsequent years. The Company has access to funds via a Group Treasury function to settle any short term liabilities. The current net liability position is not a concern as the Company has been provided a financial letter of support from its ultimate parent company, and therefore the Directors have assessed that there is no material uncertainty surrounding the going concern of the entity. Thus, they have adopted the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the annual financial statements.”
