“The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis. The Group generated losses after tax of £12.3 million (2023: £0.6 million) and was in a net liability position of £66.4 million (2023: £70.7 million), however included in the net liability position is £97.1 million (2023: £91.7 million) of amounts owed to group undertakings, and Park Place Technologies LLC has provided the Company and its subsidiary undertakings that for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements, it will continue to make available such funds as are needed by the Group and in particular will not seek repayment of the amounts currently made available. This will enable the Company and Group to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future by meeting its liabilities as they fall due for payment. Based on this understanding, the directors believe that it remains appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis. The financial statements do not include any adjustments which would result from the basis of preparation being inappropriate.”
