“The Parent entity, Broxbourne Borough Council is in a strong financial position to navigate the economic impact of the current situation and will continue to provide financial support of the Company, for at least 18 months following the approval of the year ended 31 March 2025 financial statements. The Company does not envisage that a material change will be required to any expected credit loss provisions on amounts due from customers based on recent trading updates and related recoverability or other provisions. Therefore, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the annual financial statements.”
