“With the sole investment sold and awaiting future proceeds to be received and to be distributed to its shareholder, the Company ceased its operations and there is an intention to liquidate the Company. In this regard, the directors do not consider it to be appropriate to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements. Accordingly, the financial statements have been prepared on a basis other than going concern. The carrying value of the investments in the balance sheet represent the fair value as at the balance sheet date and no adjustment has been made to the numbers in the balance sheet and profit and loss.”
