• “The company was formerly party to an unconditional cross-guarantee dated 16 December 2013 over the bank borrowings of C AM Holdings LLP, Clifton Compliance Services Ltd, Clifton Consulting Ltd, Clifton Wealth Ltd, Morgan Lloyd Administration Limited, Morgan Lloyd SIPP Services Limited, Morgan Lloyd Trustees Ltd and Clifton Asset Management Limited (formerly known as Clifton Asset Management Plc). The potential tax charges arising from an adverse decision fall largely on the clients, or where the client's pension schemes have insufficient funds, on the company. At this point in time, management estimate that the potential liability in relation to these cases is in the region of £206k.”
