- Audit opinion
- Unqualified (clean)
- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the Company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”

Significant events
- “Globally, the paper recycling industry has experienced a period of difficult trading, with the year under review particularly affected. The Company has suffered a 45,000MT reduction in volumes sold during the year. However, this was largely offset by increases to selling prices, meaning turnover is largely in line with the prior year.”
- “Administrative expenses have remained fairly consistent year on year, leading to an overall loss before tax of $670,319 (2023: $693,114).”
- “In spite of the difficulties faced, which are being felt throughout the industry, the Company has diversified its operations via the use of a fellow group company, and is now successfully collecting unsorted waste paper and having this sorted at a UK-based, group owned, plant.”
- “Fluctuations in the supply and demand of waste paper for recycling along with the prices offered by paper mills continues to be a key risk, which is mitigated by the strong relationship between the Company and its customers and suppliers and enhanced by the wider Ekman group.”
- “There continues to be significant issues with shipping, with no commercial shipping vessels travelling through the Red Sea. This had led to significant increases in transportation times as well as increased costs. This is expected to continue into 2025 and potentially beyond.”
- “Additionally, current economic conditions along with potential for regulatory changes pose risks to the Company.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
