- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The main threats to the business over the last year has been the impacts from the continued inflationary environment. Whilst this has had a negative impact, and the company is moderately geared, the business still generates reasonable profits and maintains healthy levels of cash reserves. The directors have therefore concluded that the company is a going concern and the accounts have been prepared on a going concern basis.”

Significant events
- “On 9 January 2025, the Group acquired Carnon Downs Garden Centre in Truro, Cornwall. Although the trade of this site was operated through the acquired company until the end of the financial year, the acquisition itself represents a major strategic development for Homeleigh.”
- “During 2025, Homeleigh committed to a significant program of investment at the Truro site, with total investment of approximately £1.3 million planned and underway. These improvements include extensive refurbishment to the buildings, shop floor and external areas, upgrades to utilities and systems, and enhancements to stock ranges, layout and infrastructure. A major redevelopment of the café was completed in June 2025, followed by the opening of a new aquatics centre in November 2025.”
- “The Group's banking covenants were breached at the year end, primarily as a result of the acquisition of Westcountry Garden Centres Limited group so close to the year end and the associated capital investment made in this group. As a result, the bank loan liability is all showed as current as it is immediately payable on demand. Management has a close working relationship with its bank and the bank have issued a covenant waiver after the year end.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
