“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the trustees' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. The occupancy rates of the care home remain high and the care home services remain in demand. Grant applications continue successfully and the community fully supports the continuation of the care home. There are no material reasons, with the level of unrestricted reserves that the charity has available, to cast doubt on the ability of the charity to continue as a going concern for the foreseeable future.”
