- Going concern
- Affirmed
“At the reporting date, the company has net current liabilities of £5,285,580 (2023: £5,521,841). The directors have received assurance from the parent company that they have the ability and will support the company financially so that it will be able to meet its financial obligations as and when they fall due for at least twelve months from the date these financial statements are approved. The directors have adopted the going concern basis on this assumption.”
Significant events
- “Sales growth was key to this growth. A dedicated head office sales function drove and reviewed a sales and marketing strategy that heavily focussed on improving Rowton Hall's online presence for all market sectors. Sales techniques were improved and barriers to business were reviewed.”
- “Property Management Systems were altered to ensure that Rowton adopted the same strategies as its parent company Anderbury Limited allowing for effective review of business on the books and improved forecasting. Weakness in the bedroom stock, public areas and spa were remedied.”
- “We have identified renovation of the ballroom and conservatory at Rowton Hall as key to improving its sales and profitability along with the eventual addition of further bedroom stock. A solar power installation will be added later in 2025.”
- “The Company will also continue with standardising its processes with new phones systems being put in place in 2025 alongside a new EPOS System and an updated website encompassing search engine optimisation facilities.”
- “Utilities remain the biggest risk as we enter pre agreed contracts that have high unit rates and the UK electricity and gas market is very expensive and volatile. Work is taking place at unit level to offset these costs with the introduction of a solar facility but we still expect stress on our profitability.”
- “Labour cost increases with significant increases in the National Minimum Wage and the newly introduced employer National Insurance increases will cause short term stress to profitability until the market adjusts to these costs.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
