“The retail environment in the UK remains challenging and therefore represents an ongoing risk to the business. However, the business delivered a step change in financial performance during FY25. This, combined with the renewal of funding facilities, places Neptune on a resilient footing. As a result, the Group's projections, after considering reasonable possible changes in performance, show that the Group is able to operate within its financing levels and therefore management deem that the accounts should be made on a going concern basis.”
Significant events
- “FY25 marked a significant step forward for Neptune and its journey towards long-term, sustainable profitability.”
- “Gross margin increased to £44.7m or 61% of revenue representing a 3 percentage point increase vs FY24.”
- “The reduction in promotional sales was offset by new channel opportunities secured in FY25, such as a partnership with John Lewis which launched in Q4 and is set to grow further in FY26.”
- “The business also successfully launched a new CRM platform to allow it to better serve our customers on their buying journeys with Neptune.”
- “Furthermore, the business was able to leverage its deeply integrated supply chain to convert supply chain efficiencies to profit.”
- “In FY25, Neptune successfully renewed its funding facilities with our long term partner HSBC.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
