Significant events
- “2025 was the year in which our years of campaigning on the issue came to fruition with the world signing the Global Oceans Treaty into law following the threshold of sixty countries ratifying it was passed in September. This momentous event opens the door to the largest network of global ocean sanctuaries in history, potentially protecting a third of the world's oceans from destructive practices. As such the Global Oceans Treaty is the biggest and most important environmental agreement signed into law since the Paris Climate Treaty of 2015.”
- “Further good news followed in November when, after years of campaigning and pressure, the UK government confirmed that no more licences will be issued for oil and gas exploration in the North Sea. This landmark pledge made the UK the world's largest economy to call time on new fossil fuel exploration.”
- “A significant strand of our campaigning in 2025 focussed on the need for climate justice and for the big polluters to pay for the damage to the environment that they have caused. Our campaign 'Stop Drilling, Start Paying' used non-violent direct action to bring this issue to the attention of the public and to build pressure on Big Oil to do the right thing by helping to rebuild after climate disasters and to invest in climate solutions.”
- “As negotiations towards a Global Plastics Treaty stalled we exposed the petrochemical lobbyists blocking progress on this and fighting against any cuts to plastic production. We helped to galvanise public opinion on the matter and over 100,000 people signed our petition to ban fossil fuel lobbyists from the talks. We also campaigned to shift the narrative amongst businesses and after two years of pressure Unilever publicly backed plastic production cuts and called for a new focus on reducing plastic production, which was a radical shift from its previous position.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
