• “Following the period end the company and the wider group that it is part of initiated a restructuring exercise intended to simplify the group into brand-based entities. As a result of this restructuring the company became an intermediate parent entity within the group holding shares in Chicken Villas Limited and Queenscourt Limited, which both operate as property rental entities. Additionally the company transferred all the KFC stores it held to another group entity, Intracave Limited, which resulted in a reduction in income of £25.8m and the associated costs of £26.1m. It also resulted in the transferring of approximately £2.1m of fixed assets at net book value to the new store operator.”
