- Going concern
- Affirmed
“The directors have adopted the going concern basis in preparing these financial statements. Despite the loss for the year, the Group retains adequate liquidity through a combination of available cash reserves, bank facilities and ongoing support from financial stakeholders. Management has prepared forecasts incorporating reasonable downside scenarios reflecting margin pressures, wage inflation and the timing of new contract revenues. These forecasts demonstrate that the Group will continue to meet its liabilities as they fall due for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements. Based on this assessment, the directors consider that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future and therefore continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
