- “The Group was one of the leading suppliers of packaging scrap to Tata Steel, Port Talbot, until its closure in April 2024. This, undoubtedly, has had a significant negative impact within the UK steel sector. However, the 'AMG' business model has completely diversified into the export market, with a focus on short sea sales out of Swansea Dock into Northern Spain & Netherlands. In the last quarter of 2024 we secured a contract with Tata Steel Trostre to process their material & export to their sister plant @ Ijmuiden, Netherlands, which will be reflected in 2025”
