“Scenario planning for the 2025 full year budget was carried out by the management team to consider the financial impact of continuing economic uncertainty and inflationary pressures. ... 2024 ended with RCNi in loss, reflecting a one-off re-organisation cost and a drop in turnover due to tightened budgets in corporate and household expenditure. With healthy cash reserves and a transformation plan underway, despite challenging trading conditions, it is reasonable to consider the business a going concern. The directors confirm that they have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future, and therefore the going concern basis of accounting has been adopted in preparation of the annual financial statements.”
