“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “The leisure club roof and solar array project was still unfinished finally completed in mid-September. The delayed delivery of the spa pool in the pool area was finally installed in January 2025, and service in that area of the operation was returning to normal.”
- “The UK Chancellor's Budget on October 30, 2024, that made it abundantly clear that a change in our operating approach was necessary.”
- “The reduction of the National Insurance (NI) threshold and the enhanced levels of employers' NI contributions from April 2025 combined with a 6.7% increase in the National Living Wage resulted in approximately £400,000 of projected cost increases throughout the entire business that simply could not be fixed by putting our prices up.”
- “A redesign of the Stove kitchen is commencing in July 2025. This initiative aims to optimise workflows and productivity within the kitchen, leading to a reduction in the kitchen headcount and a decrease in the reliance on costly agency chefs.”
- “Successful introduction of a new payroll, time, and attendance system. This system has had a direct impact on payroll efficiency and rostering across the business.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
