“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the trustees' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the charity's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “In August 2022 and continuing to date, the Trust alongside its regulator The Care Inspectorate Wales, agreed a change to the organisation structure. This was to introduce a new role of operations manager into the senior management team alongside the business & finance manager. Both work under the direct line management of the operations director and responsible individual.”
- “In the latter part of 2024 the Trust introduced a prospective Trustee to the board and they attended the quarterly Trustee board meetings and would hope to be confirmed in post as a permanent Board of Trustee Member in early 2025. This is to strengthen the board capacity and maintain the balance of experience on the Board of Trustees.”
- “The financial performance in 2024 has been excellent. Unrestricted funds have seen an increase in 2024 to pound3,282,614 from pound3,089,883 in 2023. While there was an increase in revenue, pressure on local authority budgets may not see this level of annual increase sustained. Also increases in maintaining the National Living Wage costs for our workforce will continue to challenge the Trusts largest budget.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
