“The trustees recognise that going concern continues to be a material uncertainty for the hospice over the longer term as it continues to navigate the path back to a recurring state of financial sustainability, one of the key objectives of the current hospice 5 year strategy which commenced in 23/24 and has been updated with a new income generation strategy and new detailed operating plan during 24/25. Having taken into account the financial results for 24/25, together with the budget set for 25/26, the trustees are satisfied that the charity is able to continue as a going concern and the accounts have been prepared on this basis.”
