- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the Company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “As described last year, the unblocking of the supply chains has led to all the backorders of motorhomes being delivered, many of which were no longer required when they arrived. Consequently, we have seen a year of increasing stocks and margin pressure. The influx of new stocks has also necessitated a switch of focus in sales with new being the core of sales. New sales rose over 25% whilst used sales halved. As the market become more saturated with new stock, competitors have started offering deeper discounts which, unfortunately, we have had to follow more than desired. This has led to a drop of nearly 2% in vehicle gross margins across the year which has driven down profits noticeably. Overall pre-tax profit has halved in the year, primarily due to margin pressures. This level is expected to be replicated in the coming year.”
Auditor, going-concern and subsidiary information is drawn from the narrative of the latest annual accounts. About these numbers

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. Periods don't have to be exactly 12 months apart — a long or short period (typical around incorporation or year-end changes) will distort the comparison. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
