“The ASA Chair, the Risk and Audit Committee Chair, the Chief Executive and the Company Secretary work closely with The Advertising Standards Board of Finance (ASBOF) on the preparation of multi-year forecasts to ensure that the ASA is sustainably funded and are confident that the business can continue to trade and meet its liabilities as they fall due for at least one year from the date of approval of the financial statements. Therefore, ASBOF has pledged to support the company for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements. It will continue to make available such funds as are needed by the company to enable the company to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. With this support, the directors and council members are confident that the company will remain in operation for the foreseeable future, and therefore consider it appropriate to continue to adopt going concern basis for accounting.”
