“During 2025 we reviewed the whole operation given reduced market demand, under utilisation of the equipment and elevated costs of manufacture. In Q4 we have made the difficult decision to close the manufacturing and research and development (R&D) functions at Heimbach UK in Q1 2026 and transfer them to other international Heimbach entities. The sales and service employees and functions will be retained and continue promoting the Heimbach brand. The exact model of intercompany (IC) remuneration to cover the sales and service function expenditure is still to be decided therefore no financial effects can be simulated at this stage. Based on this the directors believe that the company is a going concern with discontinued operations.”
